Cracken Coffee Roasters
About This Spot
Stepping into Cracken Coffee Roasters in Everett feels like slipping into a quiet, welcoming nook that neighbors and visitors alike have quietly claimed for themselves. The air hums with the gentle rhythm of espresso machines and easy conversation, creating a space where time slows down just enough to savor a moment of calm. It’s the kind of place where the bustle of the day softens, making room for the kind of thoughtful pause that good coffee invites.
The pace here is unhurried yet attentive, striking a balance that lets each visitor find their own flow — whether tucked away with a book or chatting softly at the counter. The bright morning light highlights the rich, inviting colors of the roasted beans and baked treats, while the friendly staff moves with a genuine care that makes each visit feel personal without pretense.
The menu is a quietly curated reflection of the house’s passion for coffee and comfort. Classics find their way into new expressions: a carefully crafted Flat White warms your hands; a Dalgona Honeycomb Latte surprises with its delicate balance of sweetness and texture. Seasonal offerings like the Wintermelon Latte carry a hint of whimsy that complements the shop’s grounded and welcoming atmosphere. Paired with bakery selections — a cinnamon roll or a toasted bagel — every sip feels like a small discovery, a moment that lingers beyond the cup.
For the regulars, Cracken isn’t just about coffee — it’s about routine and refuge, a familiar table to study at during early afternoons or a reliable stop at the start of a busy day. And even on busier mornings, the flow remains smooth enough to avoid the strain of a crowded café, allowing guests to return again and again without losing that sense of calm and care.
Cracken Coffee Roasters carries the quiet joy of a local spot that takes its craft seriously but knows that what really matters is the human moment — the shared glance over a steaming cup, the warmth of a smile behind the counter, and the comfort of a place that feels like it’s just slightly your own.

After reading reviews, I had to come and check it out. Of course I had to order the Dalgona Honeycomb Latte and a blueberry scone with butter. It was very good. Definitely did not disappoint! Come check this place out.

This is my go-to cafe to study! I usually come around early noon-early afternoon so it isn’t super busy. I always used to pass by it but one day decided to try it and got their seasonal Wintermelon latte. It’s become my favorite place to go to, the staff are so nice and show their care and passion through the coffee. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I really love that it’s a local shop. Come here if you need to unwind and enjoy coffee/pastries!

Great coffee, but service could be more efficient. This is a great coffee spot with quality drinks. However, the staff could have managed the customer line more efficiently. When things get busy, it would help if the barista could assist the cashier or sandwich maker when she’s not making drinks. Overall, I had a good experience. One note: there were a few people outside asking for money and they continued to approach customers until we left. It made the entrance a bit uncomfortable.

The flan croissant and dill scone were so good. I love that they were warmed up before being served. Dalgona coffee was amazing, i love how the dalgona added some sugary bitterness to the coffee.

ITS THE BEST COFFEE in Lynnwood/South Everett. Matcha green tea latte, kids vanilla esteemed milk, cinnamon roll, Marion Berry biscuit gluten-free. (Cashier asked if we wanted our pastries warm and I'm so glad we got them! Warmed!) I haven't been back here in a few years. Not much for spending money out on coffee but if I'm going out, it's worth going out of my way, lol! This place is the best in the area ... Based on the line today, the word has really gotten out. I'm so happy to see their success!! They always had a titty stream of customers but now it is more! I love supporting small businesses. Especially when they are passionate about what they are doing and have great attention to detail, card and respect for their customers. Every time I have visited Cracken it has been a good experience. *Disclaimer: Don't go here if you're in a hurry and it's a high traffic time for a coffee shop, unless you can order ahead? * Go here when you want to treat yourself or someone special, take someone here when you want to impress them, take someone here when you want to impress them, or go here when you really need to. Brighten your day and you have a few extra minutes to spare! Please serve my kind of pastries and have exceptional beverages, at fair prices. They also sell whole bags of coffee!... (Even Swiss process decaf. If you are one of The unlucky people who can't have a bunch of caffeine you will appreciate this.) This place has a good amount of tables packed in for how small the footprint is, they also offer self-serve water. It's just such a nice little spot. It really brightens the community. I have wanted to try matcha latte for years, but refused to go to Starbucks and get whatever their butchered version is. So I finally had my first experience with matcha at Kraken today. I do wish I would have done the sweetened version, haha! I sipped on it with a few packets of cane sugar and when I got home I added some raw honey! It has a very nice, complex flavor and definitely doesn't taste cheap. My daughter and I both really enjoyed our pastries. I ended up getting her a steamed milk on a second purchase which was also good.

Update September 2025: The pumpkin spice latte and lemon bar are both excellent! Original review: The iced Dalgona Honeycomb latte was beyond amazing. That smokey, carmely, flavor the Dalgona Honeycomb toffee topping adds as it melts into the drink is so complimentary to the rich and bold espresso in the latte...I can't stop talking about it since I tasted it. Can't wait to come back!

I’ve been to this coffee shop a few times, and I’ve loved their coffee every single visit. The barista knows me and remembers exactly how I like my drinks. I’ve tried their matchas and lattes—peppermint and hazelnut are my favorites—but my siblings are obsessed with their Dalgona Honeycomb Latte. They also offer a variety of amazing pastries; the matcha cream croissant is my go-to. The staff is always friendly and professional, and I really appreciate their point system—I often get to use my points to pay for a drink. It’s a great spot to study, too. I highly recommend visiting and checking it out!
